About Me

In 2023, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Oregon with degrees in mathematics and economics. In the fall of 2025, I’ll start my Economics PhD there.

I’ve worked as a tutor for 4+ years, including at North Avenue Education, AmeriCorps, and UO’s Jaqua Center.

Aside from tutoring, I’ve worked as a tech consultant at Deloitte and a research assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Here are a few tenets of my tutoring philosophy:

  • Personal connection: Warmth and rapport with a tutor makes learning approachable and engaging.

  • More than memorization: It’s important to explain why algorithms/formulas work and how they can be used to solve real-world problems.

  • Anyone can learn anything: If a student is confused, it’s my responsibility to explain the concept in a different way until it clicks!

  • Track progress: I regularly assess my SAT/ACT students to ensure they’re progressing towards their score goals.
